Did you watch the 68th Annual Golden Globes? Well there seemed to be a category for just about everything, except for that all-important one of “data protection”!!! I jest of course, the thought of making an awards show even LONGER by adding yet more dubious categories would surely decrease viewership below levels that even Ricky Gervais could rescue. If there had been said category, I’m sure KeepVault would have taken home the prize.
That said, protecting the data (scripts, footage, stills, documents, finance records, contracts, etc) created by movies and tv shows during production is a vital and yet under estimated part of the process. At KeepVault we understand this better than most and were proud to help a number of productions during 2010; including ‘Sex and the City II’ and ‘Army Wives’.
